Best-One Tire & Service was founded in 1948 when Paul Zurcher went into business in Monroe, Indiana, with a $300 loan funded through the GI Bill. Since then, we’ve grown from a single-bay service station to one of the largest independent tire companies in North America with 275 locations in 26 states. We put more than a million tires on the road every year from the biggest names in the business, and we offer a full range of auto services to provide complete vehicle care for our customers.

Paul made a successful business model by investing in others — those he would soon come to think of as family. The Zurcher family has continued to invest in dreams by forming partnerships with hundreds of independent entrepreneurs who share their passion for the tire and service industry. Each of these partners own and manage one or more Best-One locations. They have access to our collective buying power but are empowered to make the best decisions to serve their local market, their communities, and their employees.
